Walt for this week's Literacy theme Was My Working Life for one of the tasks was to complete my vision of my future .I think I did well on adding lots of detail about me! next time I think I can do better buy adding colour and more punctuation.after I had finished this tasked I had to add it in the Room 23 Literacy Checklist 2021 so my teacher can view my work and tell me what she thinks.

famous landmarks

Walt for this week's Literacy Theme is Countries.

One of the tasks was to complete a Slideshow about Famous Landmarks so there was pictures on the Slide Show and you had to figure out what famous landmark it was.

For example the Eiffel Tower in Paris then you had to say how tall it was the height of it then you had to say three interesting facts about it. Up above is the link to my slideshow that I did about the famous landmarks for some reason it would not let me put  the Slide Show on my blog so I could only put a link Hopefully it's still works.

There were eight different slides with 8 different famous landmarks once you had finished the Slide Show you had to link it on to room 23 literacy checklist. I think I did well because I did lots of research about the famous landmarks and read a few stories about it before I did this task I Hardly Knew any of the famous landmarks.

Walt for this week's Literacy theme Was countries for one of the tasks was to complete a poster I decided to draw mine Instead of trying to create it on Google drawings I feel like it's much more funnier  when you can get creative just with a piece of paper and a few colouring in pencils or pens  This tasks was worth 2 stars.

I really like to this task because I got to be creative and it was super fun to do I like how I was creative added colour an added lot of detail in my poster also I like how I made the font pretty cool and the words were in big bold letters so they stood out next time I think I could maybe add some more things in the

background maybe even a little pattern for the background apart from that I think I did really well on this task once we had finished doing the task we had to link it on to room 23 literacy checklist 2021 For this task I got a neon blue which means I did really well :)

So far I have 29 stars and we only need to get 30 stars and writing a blog post like I am now will get me one star which means I will have 30 stars

Walt: this week for Literacy our theme is Countries!

So this week since our literacy theme is countries one of the tasks was to do  a attribute organiser about countries there was 8 different countries on a Google docs and we had to put 3 countries that are in the continent one ocean and one mountain or mountain range which was in that continent and three interesting facts in a picture for example Asia for three countries that are on the continent I put China India and Pakistan and then when it says one ocean or sea I put Pacific Ocean and when it says one mountain or mountain range I put Mount Everest and so on of course all answers were different because they were all different countries I think I did really well on this on using my own words and adding bullet points and not making the sentences so long they were just short little sentences as you can see in the pictures above next time I think I could add maybe some colour and make the font a bit more fancier but apart from that I think I did really well. Walt this week for literacy our theme is create your own theme I chose animals since I love animals.

 One of the tasks for this week's literacy theme was to create a Animals Attribute Organiser. So what we had to do was pick 6 animals then we had to answer the questions about the animals we had chosen  we had to say what they eat 3 facts about them and what countries they are found in and what there habitat like and a pitcher of what they look like.

 Walt this week for literacy our theme is create your own theme I chose animals since I love animals.

 One of the tasks for this week's literacy theme was to create a file about the particular animal you were doing the animal that I had chosen to do is called a Persian cat. Persian cat are super cute. All we had to do was go on Google drawings create a box and put smaller box inside the bigger box and list the boxes with name, type which means type of cat, home, habitat, food ,body, lifespan and what it can do and what it can't do! You had to make sure you added capital letters and a bit of color to make it fancy. If you look up there is a picture of what I did you can see how I added a picture of the cat and added color. I think I did really well on this activity because I added lots of color I fixed my spelling mistakes I went through and read it to make sure it it all made sense I added picture and I made sure the words were bold so they stood out next time I think I could add a little bit more detail.

Walt: this week for literacy our theme is create your own theme.

I chose to do animals since I love animals. So one of our tasks for literacy was to complete a poster about the particular animal you had chosen I had chosen to do cats so I chose two different types of cats to say a few facts about each of them I chose to do the Persian cat and the Scottish fold cat they are both such cute cats! but I think the Scottish fold cats are my favorite all we had to do was add a picture of what the cat looks like, put a title so people knew what we had chosen to do our poster about , then we had to name the cat so people knew what the cats breed was then we had to add some facts I added how tall they are and how much they weigh and how long there lifespan is! I think I did well on adding Detail and pitchers and color next time I think I could add some more pitchers and MORE colors :)

 Walt:This week for literacy our them was strange and wonderful animals

for literacy we had to complete a Marbled Cone Snail Warning Sign and it was worth 2 stars 

and then we had to complete a blog post witch is one star 

all we had to do for the Marbled Cone Snail Warning Sign was to create a warning sign to put on a beach so people would be aware of marbled cone snail that are on the beach.

I think I did well on adding a big bright yellow sun and also blue clouds and nice light blue water\waves for the beach 

and adding bright colors.

next time I think add a little more information about them and why to look out for them

strange and wonderful animals

 Walt:This week for literacy our them was strange and wonderful animals 

for literacy we had to complete a Circus Poster and it was worth 3 stars witch is a lot so far I have 24 stars I will have 25 soon well after I have done this blog post. 

all we had to do was come up with four animals to be in the Circus and write what they do for there act and what there called.

I think I did really well on adding lots of detail and making it inserting I'm really glad I added pitchers and make the words bold so they stand out and the fount make it look really good! I also like the background I used.

next time I think that I could add a little bit more color withs the founts and apart from that I think I did pretty Good and if I was to do it again I don't think I would change anything.

For literacy this week our topic was strange and wonderful animals. One of the tasks was to do an Attribute organiser by researching strange and wonderful animals. There was a list of strange animals and a few questions about the animal for etc naked mole rat and  the questions were where does it live,what is its habit like,what does it eat , three interesting facts about it and of course add a photo of it to show what it looks like . Then we had to do two animals of our choice. I think I did well on answering the questions and giving it my best shot I also think I did good on making the words bold so it stands out more and adding bullet points to show what my answers for the question was. Next time I think I could add some punctuation and maybe even some colour. Walt: this week I have been learning about its all in your mind 

so for Literacy this week we had to create a blog post about stress and how we can help to deal  with stress I really liked doing this because it was a a good way to learn more about stress and how to help your friends or family when they have stress also it can help you. I like how  I added pitchers of what stress looks like and I like how I have made the fount nice and pretty and I like the color of the background its a nice baby blue I also like how I have added bullet points and numbers to show my ideas!Next time I could add a bit more information and maybe add a little bit more color to my Brochure. once we finished our stress Brochure we had to put it in our literacy folder so our teacher can access our wonderful work we have done then we had to link it to Room 23 Literacy Checklist 2021 so our teachers can know that we have done the work then they can check it off and mark it green Orange or Red.Green means you have done it right and you have finished that task and don't have to work on it anymore. Orange means you have to work on it a bit more for etc:add more detail or like add more color or information. Red means that our teacher could not open our work witch means we have not moved our work into our literacy folder and that we have to moved it in to a folder then the teachers can assess our work to mark our work off and either mark it Green or Orange
